Good morning dolls,

Printed pants have seriously become my number one staple. I used to hate printed pants because I have muscular thighs and I always thought they made me look so much bigger than I really am. But, in the past year, I’ve overcome that fear and gave in to the (fabulous) trend. I’ve fallen in love with printed pants. The Old Navy ones I’m wearing (and also wore in another color here & on Lou What Wear) are seriously the most comfortable pants I own. They fit like a glove & don’t shrink (which is always fear of mine!) Plus, they’re insanely affordable at $30. When I spotted this black and white pair, I had to have them. I actually passed on them the first time I saw them and regretted it all night until I went back the next day to grab the last pair!! I love a staple that you can literally wear with every color.

What’s your take on printed pants?

SS + Lou What Wear

Today, I’m collaborating with the fabulous (and super precious!!!) Danielle of Lou What Wear. We decided to exchange a piece of clothing and see how each other styled it. For my look, Danielle sent me a gorgeous floral pencil skirt from LOFT, which I absolutely love. Since the skirt had so many colors and literally popped on its own, I decided to keep it simple with a white blouse from Kohl’s and my fave new pair of Calvin Klein wedges. Florals are definitely one of my favorite trends for this spring and summer and I was so excited to see that it was what Danielle had sent me.

One of my favorite things about wearing florals is that the options are literally endless when it comes to styling an outfit. Whether the florals are more of a pastel or bright neons, you can literally pair each with at least five different colors without feeling like the outfit is overdone. Or, you can style it like I did with a simple white top and really let the colors stand out on their own. Right now, LOFT has amazing floral pieces that fit effortlessly, are vibrant, and some are even on sale, here.

If you’ve got a second, head on over to Danielle’s blog and see how she styled some of my fave Old Navy printed pants, here. She’s pretty amazing – I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Thanks for reading, xo

$100 Forever 21 Gift Card Giveaway

If you’re an avid reader of Secretive Style, you probably know by now that I’m a little obsessed with Forever 21 – within reason. I love, love, love their jewelry and the way they’ve changed the  direction of their merchandising lately. Their blouses, tees, and shoes have been of better quality – even mimicking the more expensive retailers like this gorgeous pair and this top that is identical to a J. Crew version. Plus, the prices are literally unbeatable! I love them so much that I decided to give away a $100 gift card to Forever 21 to one lucky reader.
