2 Ways to Wear // Printed Pants

Outfit: Top: Francesca’s / Pants: Old Navy {also seen here, on sale for $17!} / Shoes: JustFab

Accessories: Bracelets: Frock Candy & ℅ Brighthouse Baubles / Earrings: Frock Candy / Sunnies: RayBan

Good morning dolls,

As you saw on Monday, I wore these pants a totally different way with a bright pink top and black heeled sandals. I absolutely love the black and white trend and how you can wear it literally a million different ways. I like to balance the look out: if I’m wearing bright shoes, I’ll opt for a simple top. If I’m wearing a bright top or bright jewelry, I’ll keep the shoes simple. I absolutely love the way these red heels popped against my outfit.

Style tip: Opt for a sandal with a thinner ankle strap. Ankle straps elongate legs, make them look skinnier, and they’re ultra sexy for date night!

Good morning dolls,

Printed pants have seriously become my number one staple. I used to hate printed pants because I have muscular thighs and I always thought they made me look so much bigger than I really am. But, in the past year, I’ve overcome that fear and gave in to the (fabulous) trend. I’ve fallen in love with printed pants. The Old Navy ones I’m wearing (and also wore in another color here & on Lou What Wear) are seriously the most comfortable pants I own. They fit like a glove & don’t shrink (which is always fear of mine!) Plus, they’re insanely affordable at $30. When I spotted this black and white pair, I had to have them. I actually passed on them the first time I saw them and regretted it all night until I went back the next day to grab the last pair!! I love a staple that you can literally wear with every color.

What’s your take on printed pants?

Monochromatic Pattern with Francesca’s

Throughout several of my latest interviews for collaborations I’ve been working on, I’ve heard the same question over and over again: What’s your favorite trend for springtime? Truth be told, I’d never even considered an answer to that question before this year because it seems like every. single. year I just go with what I love. I never truly have a favorite trend, I just have favorite outfits. I’m not even usually one to go along with the “trendy.”

This year, things have changed. Ever since seeing the beautiful black and white Kate Spade creations during NYFW, I’ve been in love with the look. I’m usually one to have to throw in some color atleast somewhere but this trend has pretty much stuck to me.

I found my skirt at Francesca’s and was uncertain about it – I’m not even sure why now. I asked my husband at least 20 annoying times before I finally decided. I’m so glad I bought it! I love the fit and feel and, of course, the black and white pattern. They almost remind me of bow ties – love. I’m not a huge shorts kind of girl so you’ll definitely be seeing me in a ton of flowy and flirty skirts this spring and summertime.
