Kelly and Cobalt

Top: H&M (similar here and here) / Pants: Gap (extra 30% off with code GAPSALE) / Shoes: Target (identical / love this style) / Belt: Express / Neck Tie: my own lil’ concoction / Sunnies: RayBan

Ever since I saw Emma Stone in  this gorgeous Burberry Prorsum SS 2013 style, I’ve been crazily obsessed with blues and greens mixed together. I’m usually not one to wear something so daring, but one of my resolutions for 2013 was to step outside of my comfort zone. I mean, I’m really excited that I did, too. I actually wore this outfit last week when I went to get my highlights touched up (which turned out amazing, might I add!) and got so many compliments on it.

If the ladies weren’t complimenting me on my shoes or the color combo, they were becoming astounded by the fact that I paid $11.99 for my cobalt blue Gap pants. Seriously, $11.99 – no joke. I also bought another plaid pair that I’m obsessed with but you’ll see those later. When I realized Gap was having an EXTRA 40% off their sale racks, I had to hit up the store, especially considering that it’s a block from my home. I’d never worn anything Gap before this trip and OMG was I surprised.

They are insanely comfortable and thin enough (but not really thin) to the point that I can actually walk around the French Quarter in them when it’s 80 degrees out, which is exactly what I did. If you’ve visited New Orleans in the heat, you know what I’m talkin’ about. It’s killer, y’all. They also don’t stretch out crazy bad which makes me one happy girl.

Other color combos I’m obsessing over: pink and red / orange and yellow / yellow and emerald / black and white / all hues of purple / and even pinks and blues. I’ve been pinning about them like crazy, check that out by visiting my Pinterest here.

What is your favorite color combo right now?

Coral + Sequins

Top: Forever 21 / Skirt: ℅ Lulus / Shoes: Gianni Bini – sold out (similar style) / Sunnies: RayBan / Necklace: ℅ Alimonada

I completely forgot that I owned these heels but as soon as I came over them in my closet I knew they’d be PERFECT with my bright top and sequin skirt. They tone the look down enormously (which is needed sometimes) but they still have the fun pop of color that matches the top. I originally bought them for my rehearsal dinner back in April and I’m so glad I did. They go with so much!

Do you have any fun heels? Where from?
