IMG_6499Good morning readers,

I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite new accessories. I’ve really fallen in love with all-gold-everything lately & all of my silver items have taken a hard fall into last place. And, for some reason, I had been stuck in a rut of only buying turquoise and baby blue accessories. It must be the spring weather because every year at this time, I always go for the blue items. When shopping, I’ve been asking myself “do I have something of this color?” in an effort to round out my collection and own more colors so that I can change up my look a little bit for summertime. Frock Candy, Poshlocket, Francesca’s, and Brighthouse Baubles are my absolute favorite places to shop for jewelry.

I just can’t help but go for HUGE pops of color, gold, and pave! Speaking of pave & gold, have you entered my giveaway with Poshlocket yet? For full details, click here. You have until this Thursday!

Top: Forever 21 | Skirt: TJ Maxx {similar} | Blazer: Forever 21 | Shoes: Zara | Bag: Coach | Necklace: Forever 21 | Bracelets: Forever 21 , Fossil | Ring: gifted

Lately, I’ve found myself rushing and running nonstop from 7AM-6PM. So, when my husband wants to grab a late dinner, I’ve been slacking on the stylish side. If you’re like me (and you’re human), you grab the most comfortable thing in your closet which just so happens to be your workout attire and tennis shoes. Granted, the weekends are my time to unwind and wear my favorite attire but the weekday afternoons are not my forte.

When it comes to my weekday work attire, it’s strictly pro fresh. Blazers, pencil skirts, and more professional heels are all I wear Monday through Friday so I always need a quick way to switch it up without grabbing the comfy stuff. I’ve found that the easiest way to switch it up a bit without feeling like I’m still in my work outfit is to add a comfy vintage tee and tossing on some gorgeous jewelry. The comfy tee will make you feel like you’re in your pjs, but you’ll look insanely glam.

What’s your favorite way to switch up an outfit?

Top: Forever 21 / Pants: Banana Republic {30% off with code SPRINGAIR} / Vest: gifted Kirsten Blake via Pendleton {similar} / Shoes: Forever 21 / Clutch: ℅ MadisonElizabeth Co. / Necklace: Forever 21 / Earrings: ℅ BaubleBar / Bracelets: Forever 21, vintage, gifted

Even though Valentine’s Day is behind us, I can’t help but keep the pinks and reds lingering around a little longer. I saw these pants in Banana Republic and fell in love with the fit and color. I’m absolutely obsessing over all kinds of printed and colored pants and denim lately and I’m totally okay with it. It seems like when you start venturing out and buying red, pink, blue, and purple pants (and every other color of the rainbow) your outfit options almost triple.

Seeing as I have to wear business attire Monday through Friday, my entire weekend wardrobe is the complete opposite. I cram in the most obnoxious amount of color that I can physically bear.

What colors are you loving lately?
